The top corner edges of the binding layer was left open allow the binding to act like a Sleeve to allows a 1/2 inch 'Cafe' size hanging rod thru.
The latch hook was finished by hand tacking the binding to EVERY Row and Column, t
o prevent pulling or unraveling of the latch hook over time.
To continue to protect the artwork, the latch hook has been recently (lightly) cleaned and Scotch-Guarded.
The Rug was made around 1996-1998.

Minnie has been pictured with a color wheel, and in multiple lighting, and background color, to help you have an accurate feel its condition.
To continue to protect the artwork, the latch hook has been recently (lightly) cleaned and sprayed with Kiwi fabric Protector.

Gentle Surface Sponge Cleaning is advised.
