Serial 27455. The B1 is the best all-around model and this one has the highly desired tuning bell giving unmatched intonation and sound. Brace on main slide (or front bend) is not standard on the B-series horns, but this brace matches those on other Schilke horns and does
not
appear to be added later. It appears to be a feature that was ordered on the horn from the factory.
No dents, only a few minor scratches from use. Slides and bell all move perfectly. Main slide is a reverse slide, but is generally used for cleaning only.
Here's the best part.
.. I got this one a few years back and it had an issue with the valves. I sent it to Schilke in Chicago and had them do a full re-plate and re-fit of the valves. This service was not cheap, but this horn is truly "better than new." I've included a picture of the receipt for this service. I also did a valve alignment on the horn after the valve re-plate.
Selling only because its been in the closet for a few years. If my price is not met, I'll keep this one forever.
