This is a beautifully hand crafted, large 32 1/2" H x 19" W vintage latch hook rug of around 30-40 years old.
Lots of time, talent, and patience went into creating this wonderfully fun Santa Claus image of Santa floating in his hot air balloon with the word JOY on it, plus to also find one with a professionally finished backing with a wire ready to hang is even more rare and special.
The rug is in very good condition with no marks, staining or problems to note as shown in the photos.
The backing with the ready to hang wire is also in very good condition.
As mentioned, the latch hook rug is large in size and is just a few inches shy of 3 feet high measuring in at 32 1/2" H x 19" W.
