Antique Coca-Cola Serving Tray
Description:
Presented for your consideration is this neat antique serving tray advertising Coca-Cola. The tray dates to 1939 and features the "Springboard Girl" design done by Sundblom. The scene shows a young woman in a bathing suit and sitting on top of a towel on top of a diving board. She sits at an angle and is holding a bottle of Coca-Cola in her hand. In the lower right hand corner of the scene it is marked with "Sunblom." At the top of the tray it reads "Drink Coca-Cola Delicious and Refreshing". Around the outside edge of the tray is a red and silver alternating stripe design. Between the illustration and the red border at the bottom it is marked with "The Coca-Cola Co. 1939 American Art Workds Inc. Coshocton, Ohio." The back of the tray is painted dark grey. The tray is guaranteed to be old and original. Would make a great addition to any advertising or Coca-Cola memorabilia collection!
There are two oxidation spots on the back of the tray. Two very small spots are near the woman's torso on the front side. Some light paint wear is on her legs and the perimeter of the tray. A blemish is near the right side of the tray. No dents or dings. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition. Sold AS FOUND. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 13 1/4" long, 10 1/2" wide and 1" tall.
