Consider this very special set, a new in box family of four signed adorable Steuben
Penguins.
Favorite designs by George Thompson and Robert Cassetti, this family would be a treasured birthday, anniversary, "just because" gift or a beautiful addition to your décor.
Mouth blown and hand made at the Steuben Glassworks in Corning NY, these stunning figurines have the superb styling and clarity that was a hallmark of Steuben.
The Father Penguin, a 1970's design by George Thompson, is 3.5" tall (9.5cm), while Mother Penguin is a bit shorter and leaning forward protectively.  The penguin "Hatchling" and penguin "Fledgling" are 2.75" tall (these last three more recent additions by Robert Cassetti in 1993 are very rare.)  All are mouth blown of sparkling crystal, all are correctly signed in script.  Notice the extruded glass beaks on these penguins.  These fragile beaks are often found damaged with the beaks ground down.
These original vintage pieces are
new in box with no chips, no cracks, no nicks, no scratches, no damage to the beaks or flippers
and
no display bottom wear.
Each is signed "Steuben" in diamond point script on the bottom edge.

Steuben Glass was founded by Frederick Carder in 1903.  Renown as the world's foremost artisan glass house, Steuben glass was hand made by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY.  Steuben glass was frequently the United States’ gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no “seconds," items that did not meet their exacting production standards were destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben--a recognized luxury brand.  Since the glassworks was torn down in 2012 it has been very difficult to find gift worthy scratch free new condition original formula designs like this set.
