    Description

Miss Arizona & The Indian Chief Sitting Bill Litho C.T. Felt & Fils Anvers Poster
    12” x 24”
Buffalo Bill "Knock-off" Wild West Show Poster. William F. Cody (a.k.a. "Buffalo Bill") and his Wild West show spawned many competitors and imitators. This 12" x 24" poster apparently was produced for one such show, circa 1898. It promotes "Miss Arizona and Sitting Bill In Their Performance and Wild West Act." Miss Arizona was a take-off on Annie Oakley, otherwise known as "Little Miss Sure Shot". Like Oakley, she performs various rifle shot tricks. "Bill" seems to have been an accomplished juggler. The poster was lithographed by C. T. Felt and Son in Anvers, France. The colors are spectacular. The Poster has been Framed and is ready for display.
