Lovely Antique EAPG Sun Purple Celery Vase ~ 6" Tall

Up for your consideration is a lovely
estate find....a Sun Purple (Lavender) glass Celery Vase.  It stands 6" tall, 3.5" across the top at it's widest point and the base is 3.5". This item is in Excellent Preowned condition, with no evidence of chips, cracks or repairs, but please note there is an area at the bottom showing wear, and at area where design near base meets clear area it has some roughness (not chipped, just a manufacturer flaw)...see pics.
Note: I purchased this item from a family member of the original owner, and it has been in storage since 1965. I am not sure if this is the case with this item, but often times Lavender glass is a result of vintage glass that
contained manganese dioxide and it has a tendency to
turn
different shades of
purple
when exposed to the rays of the
sun
or to other ultra-
violet
sources. ... This
changes
the manganese compound into a form that
causes
the
glass
to
turn purple
.
