    Description

    Here is a beautiful Grueby Pottery & Tile Co tile depicting a bird in a circle in their famous well curdled matte green and two tones of blue glazes.  It measures 6 inches square and about 1 inch thick (12" square framed). Marked with the glazer's initials MD.  There is a clay shrinkage firing line to the back which barely shows on the face and tiny corner nicks filled in, otherwise in great condition.
