Item Description:  Up for auction is a 3D UV cured photopolymer liquid resin printed 1/24 scale 1955 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia body as shown.
As is with most 3D printed large surfaces, this has a
matte finish and a grainy/layered feel as shown
so prep work is required for a great finish, but the effort is well worth it to have a body not easily found otherwise.
The layered or ringing finish is predominantly seen on the top surfaces (hood, roof, deck) due to the printed layer thickness set to .05mm (.0019") which provides the best print quality at an affordable price.
This surface finish is what we call the "Economy" version.  If you are wanting a smoother finish that requires less prep work, please view listings that are titled as "Premium".
1:1 over-all length is stated to be 4140 mm, and this body was printed to an overall length of 172.50mm, an overall width of 69.95mm and an overall height of 47.08mm,
but please verify these dimensions meet your requirements and are acceptable as-is PRIOR to purchasing

3D printed resin typically cures to a hard form which makes it more brittle to work with.  I have started adding a percentage of flexible resin to combat this issue, however care and patience must still be maintained.  Please research and understand 3D UV cured resin products to know exactly what to expect and the best ways to work with, prepare, assemble and paint it.
THERE IS NO GAURENTEE TO BE TRUE-TO-SCALE.
This body is not intended to be completed with any specific kit.  It is intended to be used as a slot car body or in a kit-bash build.
This body will require the builder to fabricate their own mounting system to mount the body to the desired chassis.
AGAIN, this body requires work to smooth and prep for paint!!!
