EAPG Westmoreland DERBY Covered Sugar/Tureen with Lid (1904)

Description

The Westmorland Specialty Company operated from 1889 until 1924.
Around 1904 they produced this Derby (OMN) covered sugar/tureen.
The pattern features panels/ovals and ladders/zippers, and does resemble a turn-of-the-century derby hat.
It measures a little over 4 ½” high (including the lid), and 5” across at the handles.
This nice piece does have a chip under the rim, near one handle, and a few small nicks in the finial (see pictures).
None of these imperfection are noticeable when the sugar bowl is displayed and the price has been reduced because of these condition issues.
This is still a great EAPG item and beautiful addition to any collection.
