EAPG Ice Blue Chrysanthemum base swirl Syrup Pitcher - Buckeye c-1889-96. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This is a superb example of Blue swirl opalescent glass. Featured on p18 of William Heacock's Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Glass Book 3 it is attributed to the Buckeye Manufacturing Company. The piece dazzles as the white stripes move in a reverse direction, while the embossed pattern of the molded glass moves in a forward direction. The condition is in good, with no, cracks or restorations. The original pewter lid (PAT "84")is worn on the hinge from use and there is a small chip on the rim that is only visible when you lift the lid.  Dimensions are Height = 7" Height - Width = 3/1/2". A beautiful addition to any collection.Price reflects condition.
