    Description

    Antique, from what my research says Early American Pressed glass covered compote by Adams Clear Ribbon pattern circa 1881-1882.   A substantial piece measures approximately 13" h x 8 at widest point.  There are some small chips around the saw teeth at the base of the finial, I count 5, they are not that easy to see or feel.  There is some tiny roughness on the interior of the lid and an area with some tiny roughness on one area of the ribbons.  I took pictures of all these areas.  I hope I haven't talked anyone out of this piece, it is still lovely and will display nicely. I've loved owning, but I have too much stuff and need to let some go!  It will hold quite a bit of candy! It is fairly heavy, weighs close to 4 pounds unboxed with no packing materials.  Please see pictures for condition.
