Rich-Tone Musical Enterprises is now offering custom modified trumpets at a reasonable and affordable price. We are using the Olds Ambassador as a platform to build on. These horns although produced as a intermediate instrument, quality is excellent from the Olds factory. These work perfectly for our needs to produce a new twist on things. Here at the shop these horns have been taken apart and stripped of lacquer, dents removed, Three new finger rings added. top valve caps have been extended with new top buttons including white pearl look concave inlay, bottom cap 1", 2", and 3" length extensions, and some mild art work. The finish is a combination of a scratch and polished brass. One layer of clear lacquer has been applied. THESE HORNS ARE NOT PERFECT, there are very small micro dents or metal imperfections that could not be removed and do not effect the sound quality. This horn has a identification number engraved on the bell probably from a school, it has been sanded smooth but is still noticeable. Remember these horns are between 40 and 70 plus years old and have lasted the test of time due to great manufacturing. What they do have is a similar look to the very expensive horns that are produced by the top leaders in new age trumpet production.
