    Description

    Champion Celery 6 1/16”in height, diameter 4 1/16” McKee’s # 103 date 1894 AKA Fans with Cross Bars Non-Flint McKee & Brothers, Jeanette, PA. McKee Jeannette Glass Co. Jeanette, P.A. National Glass Co. circa 1894 to as late as 1917.The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece.
    The glass has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware.
    Four-part mold and color and clarity are excellent. There are several fleabites or tiny chips. Several on the vertical fan element and at least 6 of the large, pointed diamonds have damage to the points, on each of the six at least one is damaged. One has a very small chip. Overall, it is a lovely piece, wear on the base is commensurate with age. Please email with questions or comments. Weight before packing 1.526 Pounds.
