    Description

    Up for bid are these antique EAPG platters/trays.
    The Large Platter/Tray is 14.5"x9.5" and it's a rare piece to find.
    The Bread Tray is 13"x8.5".
    The set is in very good condition. no chips, no cracks, no repairs.
    They are in the "Pleat and Panel" pattern, originally "Derby", made by Bryce Brothers between 1870 and 1891. The pleat portion of the pattern is much like the pleats of a ladies skirt, lined up very even one after the other. The panel is stippled glass that alternates with the pleat pattern. The pleats are used to frame the edge of the glass stippled panel. The plates have a diamond ornament on the bottoms.
