    Description

Blockade (Diamond Block with fan) Cake Stand 10 1/8" diameter height 5 1/2" EAPG Manufactured by U.S. Glass, Pittsburgh PA. (Challinor #309) circa 1891.
The cake stand is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from the indoors where I photographed the piece. Clarity and color of the class is excellent. The cake stand has the bubbles, straw marks, and waviness common to Early American Pressed Glass. Lovely condition with no chips or cracks, very very minor mold roughness around base. One manufacturing defect there is a little bit of extra glass on the surface, below the wafer is flattened and turned up. This does not mar the beauty of this cake stand. There is no brandy well or indentation in the center of the cake stand.
Three-part mold, weight 2.648 pounds before packing. Please email with questions or comments.
