Description

This is an original antique pastel painting featuring a superb head and shoulders study of a Champion Cairn Terrier, the dog is named along the bottom of the painting as Courtmoor Jason and is signed bottom left by the artist Marjorie Cox and dated 1968, in very good original condition, the frame is worn particularly to the left hand side but the painting is of very good quality, overall size of painting including frame 17.5" x 14" to the rear is attached various typed information about the dog, it's breeder A.J.W. Paddon of the Courtmoor Kennels Devon, together with the dogs breeding and some notes about the dog's show success.
