Handsome jardiniere by Ruth Erickson for Grueby Pottery with full height leaves in relief showing matte green glaze on exterior and high gloss green glaze interior.
Circular Grueby Pottery, Boston, USA mark lightly impressed on bottom with what we believe is the date 1-4-07.
Incised initials E.R. attributed to Ruth Erickson (1883-after 1932), active with Grueby 1889-1910.
Very nice condition with crackling to interior bottom high gloss glaze.
Measures 5 3/8 inches high by 9 inches at its widest.
